Available Classes

Rope Classes:

Rope for Rough Body Play

Do you enjoy the restriction of tight bondage and the intense impact of punches and kicks? This class will teach you how to combine them, covering rough body play basics and additional safety concerns when incorporating rope. We will then move on to discuss how to choose your tie, easy additions for increased sadism, rope handling techniques, the effects of tension and compression, body contact and intention, and other sadistic goodies. The hands-on portion will include time to practice the techniques and ties discussed.

Microbondage

While your average rope class focuses on how to tie limbs and larger parts of the body, binding smaller areas like the hands, feet, or head can give a surprisingly intense feeling of restriction and helplessness. This class will cover some basic techniques, materials, and safety for microbondage and have a chance for hands-on experimentation.

Rope 101

So you want to learn the fundamentals of rope bondage? This introductory level course will discuss types of rope, basic safety concerns and anatomy, and teach you how to do two simple, single-column ties that can be adapted for a variety of uses. This will be a great way to get you started on your way to exploring the exciting possibilities of rope bondage.

Other Classes:

Leave the Toybag at Home: Playing with the Body

Have you ever wasted minutes agonizing over which toys to pack for an event or grumbled as you lugged your suitcase full of toys to the dungeon? This class will take a minimalistic approach to kinky play by teaching you how to have a great scene using nothing more than your body and the contents of your pockets or purse.

Messing with Their Head

Lots of classes will teach you how to get in someone’s head, but what about playing with the external bits above their shoulders? Impacting someone’s senses by playing with their face, head, and neck can range from being incredibly intimate to frightening to just plain funny. Beyond just face slapping, we’ll talk about punching, pressure points, bondage, and more with hands-on time to practice if desired.

Bootplay: Stomping, Kicking, and Crushing, Oh My!

Boots are an often neglected but highly versatile tool for kinksters. Beyond a simple fashion statement, they can be symbols of power, items to be worshipped or serviced, or implements of pain and pleasure. This workshop will cover the execution and safety of multiple bootplay techniques, ranging from simple to sadistic. Bring your favourite pair of boots, and, preferably, a partner to stomp on.

Control Techniques for Smaller Tops

While the feeling of physically overpowering someone can be extremely rewarding, how can you effectively control your bottom when you lack the physical strength to do so? Informed by her many years of  attempting to take down bottoms while being vertically challenged, this class will explore different methods of gaining and keeping the upper hand in your scenes.

Playing with Vulnerability

Looking to add intimacy and intensity to your scenes? We'll discuss some simple, practical ways to improve the bond with your partner and how you can collaborate to build more complex, emotional scenes.

Realistic Expectations in Power Exchange

What do you want out of your power exchange?  What does it mean for your relationship? When it comes to control, reality is frequently quite different from the fantasy. We will discuss important considerations for negotiating your dynamic, such as the scope and style of the control, “play” vs. everyday, protocols, and how to handle it when it just isn’t working.

Practical Protocol

Protocol can be a wonderful expression of your power exchange relationship...or a giant pain in the ass. This class will discuss how to negotiate and use protocol, particularly in a 24/7 relationship. We’ll talk about the purpose of protocols, what to do when it’s just not working, and tips for adding new and different protocols to your relationship.

Negotiation and Aftercare

Negotiation and aftercare are key elements in having a successful scene with your partner that are often overlooked. Bad negotiation or aftercare can quickly turn your hot scene into an awkward mess of mismatched desires and expectations. This class will cover negotiation styles, important physical and emotional considerations, and will give you a strong framework for starting to negotiate your scenes. We will also discuss different types of aftercare needs, providing a basic overview of common physical needs before discussing alternative approaches to the stereotypical “cuddles and a blanket” often talked about.

Responsible Bottoming: Risk Assessment and Management

Too often, we see people jump into play just trusting their top to handle everything without being adequately educated and prepared for the risks involved. This class will break down the elements of a scene and take a bottom-focused approach to how to assess so that you can properly understand and manage the risks involved. We’ll discuss preparations, negotiation, and aftercare techniques to help you have better and safer scenes as a bottom.
